The Days of Edinburgh
We have done a lot here the past few days. We have been to St. Andrews and looked through the castle, the cathedral, and went putting on the mini course there. It was a cute little town and has so much history. It was located on the beach and it was so pretty.
Yesterday, Rachel and I took a day to try and recuperate. We went downtown and had brunch, did some shopping and then came back did some laundry, took a nap, did some homework, and went to bed early like the old ladies we are.
Today was fun. We went up to the highlands. We went through Stirling Castle, which has by far been my favorite castle. The grounds were beautiful and had a beautiful garden that went around it. We went to Duane castle, which is a very small castle, but is where they filmed Monty Python and the holy grail, as well as outlander which I am going to start watching. We also went to Loch Lonmond, which is a national park and absolutely beautiful.
It has been a fun past few days and I am excited to move on to York tomorrow. Staying at Edinburgh College has been fun and has been much better than Oxford.
