Edinburgh

Greetings from Scotland!

Today I toured the Edinburgh castle which was very cool and we had a very good tour guide, we went to a Cathedral that was beautiful, and by far one of my favorite places we have gone, we also toured the palace, which is still actively used and is where the royal family spends the summer. However, the queen had just left back to London so we didn't get to see her, bummer.

Anyways, Edinburgh is a hill mostly, which makes hard for walking and I have officially pinched a nerve in my back because part of my neck doesn't have any feeling. Tomorrow we are going along the coast so that should be fun.

It is beautiful here and when people tell you the "new" part of the building, it is still normally older than our country, which is funny to me. Being here has really made me miss my grandparents. I remember my grandpa talking about Scotland a lot and I often find myself thinking about him here. I know they would both be so proud of me and excited I get to see where I come from.
