Cotswolds and Bath

Yesterday we went to the Cotswolds, which are basically little villages in the English countryside. They were quaint and so beautiful. I love them. It took us a few trains and buses to get there but I got some great pictures. We visited a miniature version of the village, did a maze, visited shops, and waded in the river. It was a lovely day.

Today we started off by punting, which is basically a form of boating, think pole steering in Venice. It is the same thing and much harder than it looks but a lot of fun. Then we headed to Bath which was beautiful. We sat in a park and listened to an English lecture, since we are technically here for school. Haha. And had high tea at the pump house, just like a Jane Austen novel. We did a little shopping around Bath and then took the train back to Oxford.

I have been completely exhausted every day. So much walking, the sun also goes down at like 10pm and goes up at 3 am. It is ridiculous I feel like it is never dark. It has also been ridiculously hot here. The UK is having a record breaking heat wave and it is so humid and so incredibly hot. I have been staying on the sixth floor and it is hotter in my room than outside. It is pretty gross.

Anyways, sending much love home to all of you.

Cheers!
